About
Hi! I'm Arooj - a UX generalist who thrives on complexity.
I like tackling tricky, messy, and complex challenges the world throws at me. A UX generalist, with special interest in social impact projects.
From fast-paced startups to healthcare innovations, I’ve learned that design is more than just the interfaces. It’s about understanding constraints and then using those constraints to craft innovative and useful solutions. And while I love a good design challenge, I’m also committed to backing it all up with solid metrics to ensure my work makes a real impact.
Problem solving through design has always been my career goal. Whenever I have been able to achieve it, I have felt accomplished. This is one of the reasons why I especially enjoy working with complex user bases. I understand that social impact projects tend to have lower success rates than other projects, but the sweetness of success of a social impact project is also tenfold.
